Autocad: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared

what’s the use of this folder? I need to load a lisp in automatic way without using acad.lsp and acaddoc.lsp. Will I find there the answer? I’m asking that because i saw an add-on i have load something from there. Thanks guys, Dennis

Load LISP (or any other customization) on AutoCAD is quite easy with Autoloader approach. Just create a PackageContents.xml, place everything inside a .bundle folder and copy/paste at one of predefined locations (c:\program files\autodesk\application plugins).

Here is a minimal PackageContents.xml sample:

BTW, you should not place your files under ‘Autodesk Shared’ folder (this for is for autodesk applications only)

I spent all the day trying to find the solution. Really thanks man! After that my program will be ready for the distribution :)))

Error: Write Permission Denied. Unable to Create: ‘C:\Program Files\Autodesk\. \Support\acad.cuix’ (Opening AutoCAD or F/X CAD)

1. Navigate to the folder C:/Program Files in Windows Explorer, then right-click the folder Autodesk within that folder. Select Properties from the menu.

2. Select the Security tab, then click Edit.
3. Click the Users entry. Then check the box in the Allow column for the Modify entry.

4. Click Apply, and wait for the change to apply. Then click OK. You should now be able to open AutoCAD without getting the error.

Aby uruchomić edytor rejestru musisz mieć prawa administratora. Kolejne kroki to:

1. Wywołaj okno dialogowe Uruchamianie przez wciśnięcie kombinacji klawiszy Win+R lub kliknięcie na Start i następnie Uruchom.
2. W linii Uruchamiania wpisz polecenie «regedit» i wybierz OK.
3. W edytorze rejestru zlokalizuj i usuń następujące klucze:
   • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Autodesk
4. Zamknij edytor rejestru
5. Zrestartuj komputer

W tym momencie wszystkie programy Autodesku wraz z plikami ustawień i wpisami w rejestrze powinny być usunięte z systemu. Można teraz przystąpić do ponownej instalacji oprogramowania. Należy jednak pamiętać o kilku rzeczach, które warto wykonać przed rozpoczęciem instalacji:

1. Zrestartuj komputer. Nawet jeśli system o to nie prosi to zawsze jest to dobrą praktyką.
2. W Eksploratorze Windows (Mój komputer) usuń zawartość katalogu z plikami tymczasowymi. Można go zlokalizować przez wpisanie %TEMP% w pasku adresu Eksploratora.
3. Zamknij wszystkie inne działające aplikacje. Niektóre z nich, np. Microsoft Outlook, mogą przeszkadzać w prawidłowej instalacji.
4. Zdezaktywuj orogramowanie antywirusowe. Oprogramowanie takie może blokować niektóre działania wykonywane przez instalator oprogramowania Autodesk (np. dostęp do rejestru, dodawanie bibliotek DLL do systemu itp.), co może doprowadzić do nieudanej instalacji. Ponadto często antywirus mocno spowalnia cały proces instalacji oprogramowania.

Catalog File ‘Support\AcFields.fdc’ is Not Found (Opening AutoCAD or F/X CAD)

When attempting to open F/X CAD or AutoCAD, you received an error message similar to the following: Catalog File ‘Support\AcFields.fdc’ is Not Found. (Opening AutoCAD or F/X CAD). CAD may start as it would normally, but you might be missing items such as ribbons or toolbars, plot style tables, and plotter configuration (PC3) files.

Cause

Your AutoCAD profile has likely become corrupt, resulting in this error message.

Solution

1. Close CAD. 2. Navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ AutoCAD 20xx\UserDataCache\Support(where 20xx is your year version of AutoCAD or F/X CAD). Copy the files AcFields.fdc and Shapes.atc from this location. You’ll need to have hidden files and folders visible to navigate to this location. Don’t see one of these files in this location? Just copy the other one. 3. Navigate to the folder C:\Users\username*\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx**\Rxx.x***\language****\Support, and paste the copied files into this location. *Your computer username.**Your year version of AutoCAD or F/X CAD.***This folder name will vary depending on your year version of CAD.****Your language version of CAD (enu, or English United States, shown as an example). 4. Open CAD. Still getting the error? Move on to the next step. 5. Follow our steps to reset AutoCAD or F/X CAD to the defaults. Open CAD again. Still getting the error? Move on to the next step. 6. Follow our steps to repair your CAD installation. You should now be able to open CAD without seeing the error. Still seeing the error?
